| Dancing in the heart is a concept which matured during many years. Already in the years 80, I was thinking about it and I could see myself having people listen to music who were there only for that . We are all used to hearing music. Our western culture is very focused on music and images to the point of invading our intimate space. Would it be on television or in shopping centers, there is an outpour of images and sound which are for me a pollution and the actual environment for most people. And yet the listening to music as some people practice in their car, their home or in a concert can bring immense satisfaction and way beyond. Those who come to sessions of Dancing in the heart know that their free relationship to music and to others participants is a the center of their process . The musics I choose constitute a leading thread and a proposition of resonance for the participants. Each music resonates differently for each person. Each being has his story and in this, it is a respectful process. In the concept of dancing in the heart , the room is in darkness and lit with photophores. This creates an intimacy and allows for each one to let go in trust : no judgment and no voyeurism. Every month, a new sequence of about 1h40 is proposed in 3 phases : rythms, emotions and meditation. And so Dancing in the Heart is an opportunity to connect to one’s own sacred space. Religions have tried to make us believe that the sacred is outside of us, in God or in privileged places (churches, temples, synagogues or mosques) when in fact the sacred is within us and the divine is our true nature . Dancing in the Heart is the opportunity to connect to this inner wealth that we must re discover. |
